| Beginning with herbalism and oils can seem daunting. We have created a boxed set of multipurpose herbs and oils. This formulary can get you started, ready to create your own philters, potions, sachets, incenses, salts, spells and more.
Our set begins with a 6x10 inch exquisitely hand-carved rosewood box. Everything nestles neatly within. Our selection of 10 herbs are organic and packaged with 1/2 oz. of each. They include the following, along with their common magickal uses.
Cinnamon Chips (Cinnamomum zeylanicum): A wonderful multipurpose herb. Used for Spirituality, Success, Health and Healing, Psychic Powers, Power Enhancer, Love & Lust, and Protection.
Elder Flowers (Sambucus canadensis): Sacred to the Mother Goddess, and long used in burial rituals, Elder is an enchanted tree. Used for Wardings, Banishings, Exorcisms, Protection, Sleep, Prosperity and Abundance, and Healing.
Mugwort (Artemisia vulgaris): An herb long known for it’s many uses, this is a fantastic herb with many possibilities. Lust and Fertility, Health, Healing and Physical Strength, Protection, Psychic Powers (Astral Projection and Prophetic Dreaming).
Mullein (Verbascum thapus): A strong Protection herb, it’s uses include Banishings and Exorcisms, Health and Courage, and Love Divination.
Patchouly (Pogostemon cablin/patchouli): An earthy, feminine herb that can be used for Prosperity, Fertility, Love and Lust.
Peppermint (Mentha piperita): One of the most common, and widely used herbs for magic. Some of it’s uses are: Purification, Tranquility & Peace, Restlessness, Love, Health and Healing, Psychic Powers, Prosperity and Luck.
Rosehips (Rosa spp.): The Rose has long been used for Love, but has many other magickal uses, such as: Health and Healing, Love Divination and Prophetic Dreams, Psychic Powers, Protection and Luck.
Rosemary (Rosemarinus officinalis): Rosemary is one of the most powerful plants available to the herbalist. Used throughout history for many purposes, rosemary has a great deal of uses: Protection, Purification, Love, Lust, Exorcisms, Banishings, Health, Healing, Youth, Peace, Tranquility, Mental and Psychic Powers.
Sage Leaf (Salvia officinalis): Used by Native American tribes for cleansing, this noble herb has a history of being used for Immortality and Longevity, Protection and Purification, Banishings and Exorcisms, Wisdom, and Wishes.
Vervain (Verbena officinalis): The “Enchanter’s Plant”, it’s use dates back to ancient Rome, as well as the Druids. Used for Love, Chastity, Protection and Purification, Peace and Sleep, Health and Healing, Youth and Prosperity.
Our set also includes 10 blended oils, ideal for both multipurpose and specific uses. These are essential oils, blended for use, along with a carrier oil, in a 1/8th oz. bottle.
The first 4 oils represent the Elements of Earth, Air, Fire and Water. Also oils representing the Sun and the Moon. To set up your altar and tools, you will have the general purpose Altar oil. For cleansings, purifications and such, you can use the Banishing oil. The number one oil used in Love and Lust mixtures, Ylang Ylang, is also included. And lastly, the powerful Dragon’s Blood, which is used for power, and is added to other mixtures as an enhancing ingredient.
