This set includes a bit of history about the holiday including the Gods and Goddesses, traditions regarding the Maypole and Bale Fire. It includes several rituals and spells such as Spell for Warding off Disease, Morning Dew Spell, A Prayer to the Fire Goddesses, Healing Holy Water, May Day Wish Spell, Sage Spell; directions for making such things as your own Beltane Oil, Maypole Candle and Morris Bells; Recipes which include things like Lavender Herb Bread, Fried Honeycakes, Bounty of the Earth Casserole, Witches Honey Bread, Savory Cheese Scones Sensuous Spinach Soup, Beltane Barley Casserole and others.
