The Essential Oils used are: Sage, Juniper, Basil, Patchouli, Cedarwood, Rosewood, and Pine. While each of these essential oils has medicinal benefits, Juniper's and Patchouli's stand above the rest. Juniper Oil is a natural Antiseptic and Antifungal benefiting disturbed and oily skin, especially useful for fighting acne and wet eczema. Juniper is also a mental and physical stimulent and helps with muscular aches and pains, even gout. Patchouli Oil is also Antiseptic and a natural Antibacterial and Antifungal. Patchouli benefits all skin types and multiple skin afflictions from acne and eczema to inflammations and fungal infections. Alone, the Essential Oils used in Green Genes Desert soaps make this a great choice of a complexion bar for oily skin. With the addition of French Pink and White Clays, along with Pumice, this great choice becomes an Excellent or Superior choice for an acne fighting coomplexion soap as they are astringent and exfoliating, clearing blockages by drawing out the excess sebum from your pores.
