We have 3 formulas for your Hot Flashes and Day/Night sweats.  Each formula is different in composition and all work very well – the difference is in scent, not effectiveness.  These powerful yet safe non-pharmaceutical Hot Flash or Day/Night Sweats formulas are easy to use and contain: Hot Flash I - a blend of Clary Sage, Lavender, Bergamot,  and Geranium Essential Oils in a base of Evening Primrose, and Sweet Almond oils.  This formula is of a Rose Geranium scent.  Hot Flash II - a blend Clary Sage, Sage, Geranium, Lemon, and Lavender Essential Oils in a base of Evening Primrose and Sweet Almond oils.  This formula is of a lighter Rose Geranium scent as above with a hint of spicy citrus.  Day & Night Sweats I – a blend of Grapefruit, Lime, Thyme, Sage and Lavender Essential oils in a base of Evening Primrose and Sweet Almond oils.  This formula has more of a Lime scent.  This listing is for one 2 ounce bottle of our Hot Flash I formula.

Hot Flash I

$14.95   1 bottle – 2 ounces with a treatment pump top

First time users: Less is best – Apply one or more pumps to any area of your body you believe will work best for you.  Each of us is different – I use these different areas to find relief from hot flashes and day/night sweats – Back of Hand, Wrist, Forearm, and Neck (sides usually), Abdomen (lower), and finally the Heart.  My favorite spots are the back of hand, wrist and forearm as I find near immediate relief there (less than 1 minute).  Each of you will have to experiment with your own bodies, the fore mentioned application areas work for me and will hopefully work equally as well for you…as you can see by my around the body application map, use your intuition and apply the oil to that area as there is no wrong place to use these formulas.  Hot Flash formulas I & II, and Day & Night Sweats formulas may be used as often as needed.

FAQ and Tidbits – Hot flashes are the most common symptom of menopause.  A hot flash refers to dilation of the peripheral blood vessels, which leads to a rise in skin temperature and flushing of the skin.  In the typical hot flash, the skin, especially of the head and neck, becomes red and warm for a few seconds to two minutes, with cold chills thereafter.  Hot flashes can be accompanied by other symptoms, including increased heart rate, headaches, dizziness, weight gain, fatigue, and insomnia.  Many individuals are the most uncomfortable during the first and second years after menopause, as the body adapts to decreased estrogen levels your hot flashes typically subside.

Supporting natural treatments include (this is not an all inclusive list however), Black Cohosh, Dong Quai, Licorice, and Chasteberry.  Here is a partial list of beneficial menopausal Essential oils: Clary Sage, Geranium, Lavender, Sage, Bergamot, and Red Thyme. Other safe ways to help yourself out. Good nutrition, using cold pressed cooking oils, taking vitamins and Evening Primrose oil.  Avoid or limit these things: Stimulants like tea, coffee, and alcohol.

As many of my long term customers know I was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer and then had whirlwind emergency surgery.  Now my new customers and everyone else know this too… As my surgeon and after care surgeon/GYN says, “You are lucky to be alive.”…so I am not griping at all here!  In fact I am just hunky dory with life…and with my long term flashes and sweats.  I had already dealt with and conquered hot flashes in the not so distant pass as when I started on my journey to Crone – surgery, however delightful it was in giving my back my life, reopened the door to mega flashes that affect my whole body, not just my face and neck!...Chuckle. 
My Doctor is wise(!) and during one of my visits, had told me to market my oils, and then added… that in most cases hot flashes will not last more than 6 months and will often pass sooner than that even without any botanical or pharmaceutical help.  In my case, my flashes will most likely last for 1.5 - 2 years.  Woohoo – an easy price to pay since I am alive against all odds!  I know that if I don’t treat my flash and try to wait it out, it will last over 20 minutes – yes(!) I have timed them – and that is icky .  However using any of these oil blends during any phase of a flash will stop or lessen the flash usually before 60 seconds has passed.  Early application is best, the earlier the better – use your oil when you feel one coming on to avoid or shorten the flash.  This works wonders! 
On my last visit to see my Doc, and to gripe just a little, I told him of how I have been using my oils (for lack of a better explanation I used this phrase) = “a little schizophrenic like, you know, I use them then feel great not having a flash for quite some time so I stop using the oils.  Then after a couple of days of not using my oils I am hit with flashes non-stop, like being whacked over the head with a hot iron skillet.  Icky!  Then I have to start my regime all over again”.  After a little chuckle and then a shake of his head, I was given directions to use my oils often at first then to start lessening applications, then skip applications, until my body will adjust on it’s own to the new model (and lease on life) it has been given – this process may take me (not you) between 1.5 – 2 years.  Sooner or later my body will adjust to the lack of hormones it is now running on and my hot flashes will disappear.  I was also told, “Don’t use the oils often then stop cold turkey – it isn’t working for you”….
