Wild Bergamot (Monarda fistulosa) is part of the mint family (Lamiaceae). It was once used by Native Americans to soothe bronchial complaints and to east colds. The nectar of the flowers attracts long-tongued bees, butterflies and hummingbirds. For a member of the mint family, the flowers are large and beautiful. No way I can sit down and count these tiny seed but I would estimate that you will get 200 to 300. With these, I attach recipes for making a couple Gambler's Luck oils.
